Directions to Radford and the Best Western: Going south down I-81, the Radford University exit is 109. At the stop sign at the end of the exit, turn right. This is Rt 177. It is about 4 miles into Radford City. The speed limit will slow to 45 mph, then 35. The Best Western Radford Inn is on the right after about 3 miles.
Radford University is another ¾ mile down the same road going away from the Interstate. The speed limit will slow to 25 and the road becomes Tyler Ave. with a median between the lanes. Radford U. is on the right.
Directions to Heth Hall, room 043: Going toward Radford from the Best Western, there is a stop light across from the Food Lion Plaza on your left. The next stop light after that is at the corner of Tyler and Jefferson Street. To get to Heth Hall, turn right onto Jefferson and go down the hill to the stop sign. Turn left onto Fairfax Street. Heth Hall is directly in front of the end of Fairfax Street across the circle with the red clocks in the center. (The AAUP meetings are in Heth Hall 043, downstairs).
Parking: There may be some parking along Fairfax Street leading to Heth Hall, but on Saturdays students often fill up these spaces. There is a parking just off Jefferson Street on the left before you reach the stop sign, where there may be spaces. This parking lot is in front of Cook Hall.
The most assured parking can be found by taking the first left onto Calhoun Street as you go down the hill on Jefferson Street. Immediately on your right from Calhoun is a large parking lot that should have plenty of spaces. From there you can walk down the side walks on either side of Peters Hall until you reach Heth Hall.
